Warranty & Service

Our automatic cutters are warranted to be free of defects in material or workmanship for one full year from the date of purchase (not including the cutting blade or rubber feed rollers). Only end users buying directly from Cutter Industries are eligible for this warranty. During this warranty period, the unit will be repaired or replaced at our option. Just send us your unit and we will look it over within 24 hours. Send units (freight pre-paid) to:

Please call us prior to shipment so we know your unit is on its way at 417-533-1019.

Cutter Industries shall not be liable in any respect under this warranty if the unit has been repaired by others, or has been damaged by the addition or alteration of the unit, or has been used with components or accessories other than those supplied by Cutter Industries, or otherwise misused or damaged in any way. Damage that is deemed to be of this nature will be repaired at the owner’s expense. All other warranties, express or implied, of merchantability and all other warranties which extend beyond the description of the unit on the face hereof shall terminate upon any change of ownership. Cutter Industries shall not be liable for any consequential damages except to the extent required by law.

If your automatic cutter needs service after the first year, it must be returned to:

Please enclose:

  • An explanation of the problem
  • Your return address
  • Your phone number
  • Material being cut – 4-6′

Insurance

Cutter Industries will not be responsible for any shipping damage. Returns should be made in the original packaging (or equivalent).

Service Charges

Service charges start at $125+. Machines 5 years or older start at $225+.

Service Payments

We try to make your experience with our automatic cutters as easy as possible. If you ever need a repair, here is what you can expect from us:

  • First, please call us if you need a repair. Sometimes it is a simple fix and we can help you over the phone.
  • If you do need to send in your unit, we will let you know after we talk.
  • After receipt of your unit, we will eMail or call you with an estimate.
  • You can then pay for the repairs using a credit card or a company purchase order.
  • We then send your unit back to you.
